	Upcoming Events Recent Events Calendar Regional Groups Calendar Archive About SIGS	May 19, 2003 The SFPFS Traveling Table - Roxanne's in Larkspur RAW POWER: USING LIVING FOODS TO CULTIVATE PERSONAL AND GLOBAL LONGEVITY On Monday, May 19th, 2003, Roxanne Klein opened the doors of her Larkspur restaurant to the Food Society for a special sold-out Traveling Table event. Members and their guests listened to Roxanne discuss her passion for "living foods," which had its roots in her childhood experiences on her grandfather's farm. She told the group that her grandfather trained her to use her senses as a guide in selecting ripe produce--to smell the harvest. Today, Roxanne adds visual and tactile elements to the mix to create uncooked haute cuisine that has been called amazing, inspiring and extraordinary.
