An Evening of Julia Child: Celebrating Her Life and Her Legacy

Can’t get enough of Julia Child? Join the San Francisco Professional Food Society and the Kabuki Sundance Theater for an evening of Julia Child uncorked. First, enjoy a screening of Julie & Julia, and then listen to stories from Bay Area fooderati who knew and loved her. 

Join moderator San Francisco Chronicle contributing food columnist Janet Fletcher and our distinguished panel: James Dodge, cookbook author and Director, Specialty Culinary Programs, Bon Appetit Management Company; Linda Carucci, Chef Director at the The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of California – San Francisco; Roberta Klugman, Food Communication Specialist and former Executive Director of the American Institute of Wine and Food;  Maggie Mah, of Maggie Mah Consulting who traveled and collaborated with Ms. Child; and our film critic, Lexi Leban, the Academic Director of Digital Filmmaking & Video Production at The Art Institute of California – San Francisco, as they critique the new film, share intimate anecdotes, and discuss the impact of America’s Grande Dame of Culinary Arts.
